A scarf-wearing snowman, a Hanukkah menorah and a jolly old Santa have been among the many holiday art creations made over the years by patients and siblings at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt as part of the annual Holiday Project.
A hallmark tradition of the Friends of Children’s Hospital, the Holiday Project began in 1973. Over the decades, an estimated $2 million has been raised, benefiting Children’s Hospital. Friends is one of the leading supporters of the hospital’s expansion.
