Ansley McLaurin, 8, patient in remission from a rare cancerous tumor
Four years ago, Ansley McLaurin was diagnosed with an extremely rare solid tumor called pleuropulmonary blastoma, a cancer that starts in the lungs. Her cancer had spread throughout her body. After a lung resectioning, about 52 weeks of chemo and 6 weeks radiation, and four years later, Ansley is cancer free. She loves to dance and takes ballet classes in her town, Hendersonville.
